NSF Summer REU Program at IU Bloomington Dept. of Mathematics

This is an eight-week summer program, where students work one-on-one or in pairs with a faculty member from the Mathematics department.

Distinguishing features of this program include:

--its long tradition (it has been successfully run off and on, since 1966),

--the mathematical significance of the projects, and

--the breadth of topics (this year, ranging from logic to biology)

--very generous stipends.

The program runs roughly summer session 2 (June 21-August 14, 2010).
